Chef Larry Barrett

Chef Larry Barrett is the owner/chef of Simply Gourmet. He has been preparing classic cuisine with an ethnic flair for over 25 years. Chef Barrett’s travels have taken him to Spain, Portugal and Greece where he mastered the art of Mediterranean cooking in kitchens throughout the region. “Batch cooking is what makes me tick. Good technique outdoes a good formula every time. At Simply Gourmet we create cuisine from all over the world daily, it’s incredibly exciting and challenging. From a very early age, I knew that cooking and I would be inseparable.” Chef Barrett has combined fine cuisine, culinary history and performance art for much of his career. “I love to research my projects, it gives me the deepest understanding of food and it’s origins.” His most notable events are signature recreations of White House State Dinners and the Queen’s Royal Tea.

Jamie Barrett ~ Event Coordinator

Jamie Barrett is the owner and head event coordinator at Simply Gourmet. Jamie has been producing, creating and coordinating culinary events for twenty years.  She started as a professional producer, choreographer and dancer, performing professionally in New York City. Her theatrical background is where she draws her creativity. Jamie’s impeccable taste and eye for detail is inspired by every clients’ dream.  “It’s the little details that make an event great. Watching all the pieces come together is like directing a show. Meeting with a client for the first time and listening to their vision ~ that’s excitement and the beginning of the creative process for me. My goal is making your special day one to remember and be proud of for a lifetime.”

Becky Souflis ~ Event Coordinator

Becky began her catering career in San Diego, California. She worked for a large restaurant group and was promoted to catering director after one year of being lead captain. She has planned and executed events for major corporations including Microsoft, Tesla and the MLB Players Association. She has been styling events with Simply Gourmet for over 5 years. “Planning weddings and events is a dream come true for me. Working at a boutique company with such a fantastic team gives me the time to ask my clients the important questions and take the time to listen. Creating stress-free beautiful events is how I’ve built my success.”

William Reisinger

Chef William Reisinger

Chef William Reisinger attended Pennsylvania Culinary. Chef Will’s education was a great blend of the artistic and practical. He has been involved in the restaurant business for over 20 years. “I’ve worked at so many venues ~ fine dining, casual and catering. Working the line at a few fast paced restaurants got me in the kitchen groove.” Chef Will’s experience makes him the perfect fit at Simply Gourmet where he has been sous chef for over ten years. “There’s an energy in the kitchen that is just great. Batch cooking for large events is my passion. My goal is to make my food taste amazing for a party of 4 or 400.”
